Most stainless steel ball valves have no clear installation direction indication because the internal structure of the valve body is basically symmetrical. They can be installed arbitrarily as long as the valve body and pipeline are connected correctly.
However, some special stainless steel ball valves have certain requirements for installation direction. Special types such as eccentric semi-ball valves and V-type ball valves are directional, and there are medium flow direction marks on their valve bodies, which should be followed.
