There are many materials for stainless steel ball valves. Common ones include 201 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, etc. So what are the differences between these materials?
1.201 stainless steel: 201 stainless steel ball valves are not commonly used. Compared with cast steel ball valves, they will not corrode too quickly when used in humid projects, and are generally not recommended.
2.304 stainless steel: 304 stainless steel ball valve is widely used and has good corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties. In addition, it has good hot workability such as stamping and bending, and no heat treatment hardening phenomenon. It is especially suitable for use in alkaline media.
3.316 stainless steel: 316 stainless steel ball valve can be used under harsh conditions. Due to the addition of Mo, it has excellent corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength.
4.316L stainless steel: 316L stainless steel ball valves are generally used in industry and have high anti-corrosion properties and excellent high-temperature strength, but the cost is also relatively high.
